You will normally need to have a least one of the following: A level 1 hospitality qualification, 3 GCSE’S at grades 4 or above including Maths and English, Other related level 1 qualifications. References and a successful interview
Who the course is for
The course is for people who want to pursue their careers in the catering industry and will be able to make choices, with the necessary qualifications to support those choices. The course will cover both front of house theory and kitchen skills, and various aspects of hotel and restaurant operations.
What the interview will involve

You will be sent a career plan prior to your interview date to complete and bring along with you on the day. The interview is a two-way process which will give you the opportunity to discuss the course and suitability with the subject tutor.

What you will learn
Students will all study: Core modules Investigate the Catering and Hospitality Industry, Products, Services and Support in the Hospitality Industry, Principles of Customer Service in Hospitality, Providing Customer Service in Hospitality.
How you will learn
You will learn through a combination of theory and practical sessions. You will be assessed through a Written and a Practical exam.
