The World Awaits

Students at the Isle of Wight College have the opportunity for overseas travel, completely funded by our projects – Erasmus + and Turing.

We work with a range of partners in many different countries which gives students the chance to gain great experiences, new skills and make new contacts overseas. These trips are often life-changing for our students – just recently students have travelled to Italy on the TIES project (Erasmus +) which focussed on cultural heritage and environment, to Estonia and Norway for the Mind Over Matter project which focussed on ways to overcome mental health issues( Erasmus +) and also to Malta, Greece, Finland and Spain on other Turing and Erasmus trips.

MOM - Mind Over Matter

The Isle of Wight College have been proud participants in a project called MOM (Mind Over Matter). This project promotes wellbeing and good mental health to students and we have travelled around Europe discovering and sharing ways that we can all look after ourselves and each other.

You can find out more and see ours and other college's adventures over on Facebook.
