Who the course is for
Students with an interest in pursuing a career in the technical construction trades, for example Electrical and Plumbing.
What you will learn

You will learn a variety of skills these will include

  • Connecting flex to common apparatus
  • Constructing PVC wiring systems
  • Working with non manipulative fittings
  • Bending and jointing copper pipe
  • Installing rain water goods

You will be taught these in both a practical and classroom environment, with a health and safety module running through all aspects of your work.

You will learn the hand skills and knowledge required to progress onto further study within electrical or plumbing

How you will learn

You will learn in the classroom and in the workshop, using suitable tools and materials

You will progress onto relevant qualifications in plumbing or electrical depending on which career path you would like to choose
