Entry requirements

·Minimum of 3 GCSEs grade 3 or above including Maths and English language.

·Progressing students may require a minimum of Level 1 qualification in your chosen subject at Merit or above and English language and Maths at Level 1.

Who the course is for

Esports is a fast-growing industry where professional teams face off against each other in competitive video games. With this area expanding so much there is many opportunities within Esports that our course can train you for.

What you will learn

This exciting new Level 2 Esports course helps you gain all the skills needed to work within this area or progress to further study. Throughout this course you will learn how to coach and manage a team, plan and run events and also brand and advertise a team.

How you will learn

You will be taught in a variety of ways to include workshops, lectures and seminars whilst also undertaking industry placement, to help support and underpin the theoretical knowledge gained in class. Digital methods of teaching and learning will be embedded to enable you to access materials at all times. This course is offered in conjunction with Functional Skills and GCSEs for English and Maths where required. These qualifications aim to develop skills valued by employers.

Progression

E-Sports Level 3 or Apprenticeship or the Workplace.
