Who the course is for

Distance learning courses are suitable for people who prefer to study independently. You can set your own pace within a given timeframe and choose where and when you want to learn. Distance learning is often chosen by those who would like to gain a qualification, develop their knowledge, or build skills alongside other responsibilities. 

What you will learn

This course is split into five manageable units:

Unit 1: Understand how to recognise that an individual's behaviour has the potential to intensify

Unit 2: Understand legislation and support relevant to behaviour that challenges

Unit 3: Understand how to manage a situation when an individual is acting in a manner that is challenging

Unit 4:  Managing challenging situations

Unit 5: Understand own role in providing support following an incident of behaviour that challenges

How you will learn

All of our courses are delivered fully online. Learners need a laptop, PC or tablet, internet access and basic I.T. skills to complete a course. 

Fees
Our Level 2 courses are usually funded (eligibility criteria apply). To enrol on a distance learning course, you must be at least 19 years old at the start of the academic year. Contact us if you need more information about funding.
