Who the course is for

Distance learning courses are suitable for people who prefer to study independently. You can set your own pace within a given timeframe and choose where and when you want to learn. Distance learning is often chosen by those who would like to gain a qualification, develop their knowledge, or build skills alongside other responsibilities. 

What you will learn

This course is split into five manageable units:

Unit 1: Understand information, advice or guidance in practice

Unit 2: Understand the interaction skills for information, advice or guidance

Unit 3: Understanding signposting and referral in information, advice or guidance

Unit 4: Understand the context of information, advice and guidance

Unit 5: Understand skills required by advice providers

How you will learn

All of our courses are delivered fully online. Learners need a laptop, PC or tablet, internet access and basic I.T. skills to complete a course. 

Fees
Our Level 2 courses are usually funded (eligibility criteria apply). To enrol on a distance learning course, you must be at least 19 years old at the start of the academic year. Contact us if you need more information about funding.
