Our weekly 3-hour GCSE Maths classes are held at a variety of times/days including evenings on site at the college.
You will have access to a variety of resources outside of the classroom and you will be expected to undertake considerable self-study in order to prepare for the exams.
Attendance to all sessions is essential.
You will sit three exams which are externally assessed by Edexcel (Pearson) at the end of the course in May/June. Results for these exams will be issued in August.
A grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths is a requirement for most level 3 courses and ACCESS to Higher Education. It is also part of the entry criteria for the great majority of university courses. It can also help to improve job prospects as most employers require grade 4 or above in both English and Maths.
