It was a pleasure to welcome a group of exchange students from Coburg, Germany, to the Isle of Wight as part of an exciting international exchange programme.
During their visit, students gained valuable workplace experience through a range of placements across the Island, providing them with the opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence and gain insight into different industries. Placements included time spent at UKSA, as well as opportunities within the College's own Marketing Department, allowing students to experience a variety of working environments and professional practices.
Alongside their work placements, students had the chance to explore the Isle of Wight and experience life within the local community. From discovering the Island's unique character and culture to meeting new people and immersing themselves in everyday life, the visit offered a valuable and memorable international experience.
Exchange programmes such as this play an important role in broadening horizons, encouraging cultural understanding and helping students develop the personal and professional skills needed in an increasingly connected world.
We hope the students enjoyed their time on the Isle of Wight, made lasting memories and gained valuable experiences that will support their future ambitions.
Congratulations to all of the Coburg students for embracing every opportunity during their visit. We look forward to welcoming future exchange groups and continuing to build strong international partnerships.
