IWCollege Vs Chichester

On Wednesday 30th March the Isle of Wight College travelled to Chichester for a tough clash with a team a point ahead In the league.

The game started with the college pressuring Chichester early creating early chances with shots flying over the bar from Connor and Leo. Chichester then woke up and started to put a bit of pressure on the colleges back line who were resolute all game. After about 30 minutes the college were awarded a penalty after a deliberate hand ball on the goal line. Up stepped Leo who calmly played the ball in the bottom left hand corner, The college up 1-0.

The pressure continued from the Isle of Wight College with plenty of shots flying over and wide. But there was another break through after 39 minutes when Fin delivered an amazing corner on top of the Chichester keeper who subsequently dropped it into the path of Leo who tapped it in, the Isle of Wight College up 2-0.

As the second half started the college continued to be the dominant side, creating chance after chance. Keeping the game firmly in our control. Mid way through the second half Chichester had a few chances with the most noticeable effort narrowly going over, hitting the bar.

As the time in the second half slowly ticked away the college began to get the game back under their control with plenty of shots flying over. The final whistle soon came meaning the iow college earned a well earned 3 points
