Celebrating Success: Highlights from the Isle of Wight College Annual Student Awards Ceremony

Held on Friday 4 July at the Riverside Centre in Newport, the ceremony was a memorable celebration of achievement, determination, and community spirit. Students, staff, families, and community partners came together to honour the hard work and success of learners across a wide range of disciplines.
The awards recognised achievements in categories such as:

Peer Support and Leadership Award
Outstanding Award for Overall Achievement
The afternoon culminated with the Higher Education Awards and the announcement of this year’s Student of the Year – a huge congratulations to Christian Rogers (Business) for his exceptional dedication and leadership. Our runner-ups, Sophie Lewis (Sports) and Ewan Winkles (Leisure & Tourism), also deserve special recognition for their outstanding commitment.
