Thank you for applying to join the Isle of Wight College and for choosing to study with us. We hope you are enjoying your Summer and we are looking forward to welcoming you soon. This email outlines everything you need to know to start your college year.

All students, new and progressing will start week commencing Monday 2nd September. The specific details of the day and time that you will be required to attend that week will be confirmed once you have completed your online enrolment following results day on 22nd August.

Student Financial Support Applications Are Now Open!

Preparing fo Enrolment

Check in advance that you are still able to access the Online Portal (your username will be the email address you provided when you first applied). On the portal you will need to:

  • Upload a photo of yourself for your Student ID card. You can do this at any time prior to enrolment.
  • Check your personal details, medical information and emergency contacts are all up to date and amend if necessary. You can do this at any time prior to enrolment.

Upload your GCSE results on August 22nd (or before if you already have them). You should upload a photo of your results as soon as you receive them.

Thursday 22nd August

Applicants with new GCSE results upload their results to the Online Portal.

From Friday 26th August to Friday 31st September

Please regularly check your email account (as well as your junk folder) as we will send you a link to confirm your enrolment. It is important that you do this as soon as possible to secure your place and receive your confirmed start day and time.

What if I’ve haven't met the entry requirements for my course?

Do not worry if you have not met the entry requirements for your course. We offer a very broad range of qualifications at different levels, so there are lots of options. There is a team on hand to talk through alternatives and help you find a programme of study that is right for you.

I am still considering my options? Can I get advice and support from anyone?
