What is the course?

This is for anyone who wishes to work with LPG Appliances within the gas industry. We offer the initial change over as well as reassessment.

Who is it for?

This course is for anyone who has the Core Gas Safety or Core Commercial Gas Safety Element of the ACS gas engineer’s qualification.

You must also be Gas Safe registered for a minimum of 6 months for new entrants only.

What does it cover?

The following key topic areas covered include (this is not an exhaustive list)

  • CoNGLP1 (PD) Permanent Dwellings
  • CoNGLP1 (RPH) Residential Park homes
  • CoNGLP1 (LAV) Leisure Accommodation Vehicles
  • HTRLP2 – Closed Flue LPG Gas Fires

What you need to bring?

You will need to bring your ACS certificate, along with 2 passport photographs for the assessment. Training is not mandatory for reassessments, however people find they benefit from taking the refresher training.

Please Note:

To carry out work on LPG Appliances you must also hold a current ACS Certificate for that appliance type also e.g. CENWAT for Boilers and Water Heaters
