About Us:
As the Island's largest College, we are embarking on an exciting period of expansion and growth across not only our main college site in Newport, but also our state-of-the-art facility in Whippingham - Centre of Excellence for Composites, Advanced Manufacturing and Marine (CECAMM).
Would you like to be involved in the exciting growth of Apprenticeships and one of the most expanding industry sectors on the Island? In order to train the next generation of electricians, we have an exciting new opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of learners across the island, visiting them on site and in the workplace to carry out reviews, assessments and observations. You will ensure individuals meet identified targets for assessment and timely achievement and are given appropriate support, advice and guidance to meet the requirements of their qualification.
About You:
We would require you to have the following experiences/qualifications in the areas below, (although training and development will always be provided by the IW College), you will be required to work unsupervised and maintain high standards:
·In depth knowledge, skills and experience across a range of disciplines within the industry relevant to this role
·Hold A Level 3 qualification in related subject
·Level 2 qualifications in English Language and Maths (or willing to complete with the support of the IW College)
·A relevant assessor award
