An opportunity has arisen to join our College as a Lecturer in Maths.  We are keen to hear from candidates with the passion and enthusiasm to engage and inspire our students, teaching across college with a specific focus on GCSE Maths and Functional Skills.

Whether you are an experienced Maths teacher or a recent graduate, you would be thoroughly supported with any training needs you have, to ensure that you are fully equipped to deliver the curriculum and support students gain the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their studies.

For candidates with the relevant qualifications who may not have taught before we will support you through a Level 3 Award in Education in Training through to a full Level 6 teaching qualification.

What you can offer us:

  • Minimum Level 3 maths qualification or equivalent, although a Level 5 or Level 6 relevant qualification would be desirable
  • A relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
  • An innovative thinker with the ability to engage and enthuse our students
  • Good planning, preparation and organisation skills
