Horticulture Technician
39 hours per week
£19,317 – £20,242 per annum
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work within our Land Based Studies team as a Horticulture Technician at our main site in Newport.
Working within a busy horticulture environment you will provide high quality, practical support to our students and staff whilst ensuring an excellent learning experience. You will ensure equipment, materials and resources are well maintained and available for teaching, and support students gain practical skills and knowledge within this industry.
You will also be involved with the development, care and maintenance of the college grounds, including the ‘living’ plant collection and horticultural crops. Some duties will require agreed weekend cover on a rota basis.
