Lecturer (Foundation Learning) – Full-Time, permanent contract
English Lecturer – Part-Time (23.4 hours), up to one year contract
£24,780 – £29,577 per annum, pro-rata as applicable
The College is looking to recruit to two posts; a full-time Lecturer in English on a temporary basis for up to one year and a part-time, permanent part-time Foundation Learning Lecturer, working 23.4 hours per week.
We are keen to hear from candidates with the passion and enthusiasm to engage and inspire our students, with both roles contributing to the delivery of Functional Skills and GCSE English to our learners.
Within the Foundation Learning role you will also support the development of our student’s employability and wider life/independence skills for learners with a range of needs including: high SEN needs (education, health care plans), emotional and social difficulties, NEET learners (not in employment, education or training) and more vulnerable young adult learners. You will work to re-engage these learners back into education and support their motivation to progress and succeed in employment.
Within the English role you will support students from a variety of backgrounds and curriculum areas across college, helping them to achieve their required outcomes within this subject.
