The next Isle of Wight College Open Day is on Wednesday, June 26, from 4pm to 7pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students, parents, and the wider community to explore state-of-the-art facilities, meet their expert staff, and learn more about the college’s diverse range of courses on offer.

Whether you’re a school-leaver this September, or an adult looking to enhance your skills, the Isle of Wight College has something for everyone. Their new range of free adult courses are designed to cater to various interests and skill levels.

New free skill-up courses available include: horticulture, tiling, plastering, carpentry (beginners and intermediate), painting and decoration (beginners and advanced), photography (introduction and advanced), interior design, exploring art, creative drawing, creative sustainable jewellery and puppetry.

The Isle of Wight College Open Day is the perfect occasion to get first-hand information about these courses and more.

The Isle of Wight College also offers university-level courses through its own University Centre Isle of Wight, apprenticeships, T-Levels, vocational courses, and adult learning.

Whether you’re looking to gain new skills, enhance existing ones, or embark on a completely new career path, the college’s dedicated staff will be on hand to guide you every step of the way.

There will also be a dedicated English and maths drop-in for adults looking to improve their English and numeracy skills through Functional Skills, GCSEs and the government funded Multiply scheme.

This will be a general open evening both at Newport main campus and CECAMM at Whippingham (for engineering)..

Students come to the college from all over the Island, attracted by the college's exceptional facilities which can’t be found anywhere else on the Isle of Wight. In coming years the facilities are set to improve further with incredible business connections, higher education and digital innovation as a key focus. The current facilities include:
