Who the course is for

This course is for anyone who would like an introduction to plastering.

What you will learn

Plastering Course Day 1

Cutting and fixing plasterboard to timber studwork.

Repairing a section of damaged plasterboard

Fixing corner beads

Preparing the area for finish plaster


Plastering Course Day 2

Learning hand tool skills for plastering

Practice rendering a section of wall to build hand skills


Plastering Course Day 3

Applying finish plaster to the plasterboard completed on day 1 



How you will learn
On this course you will learn through demonstration and practicing hand skills.
Progression

On completion of this course you could progress on to an intermediate plastering course, or a plastering qualification.

If you are unemployed or earning less than £25,000 a year the course is FREE* If you are employed and earning more than £25,000 a year you will need to pay £75.
