There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, participants should be prepared for practical outdoor work and are advised to wear appropriate clothing and bring necessary equipment.

Who the course is for
This course is ideal for anyone interested in developing their horticultural skills and learning how to grow their own produce throughout the seasons. 
What you will learn

Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience, this hands-on course will help you build confidence in practical horticulture.

Fees
The course fee is £98.00. However, this will be waived if you receive most means-tested benefits or your individual income is less than £25,000 per year

All fees quoted are subject to applicants meeting the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) residency eligibility.

  • Gardening gloves

  • Pen & notepad
  • Pencil
  • Optional: Mobile phone or digital camera to document practical work
