Who the course is for
This course is ideal for adults aged 19 and above, who are interested in exploring the fundamentals of interior design, whether for personal interest, home improvement projects, or as a first step towards a potential new career path. No prior experience or qualifications are needed—just a passion for creativity and an interest in transforming spaces.
What you will learn

Over 8 weeks, you will be introduced to the essential principles of interior design. Topics include:

  • Understanding space, colour, and layout

  • The use of light, texture, and materials

  • Creating mood boards and concept presentations

  • Basic floor planning and furniture arrangement

  • Design styles and trends

  • Practical tips for decorating and styling interiors

You will also gain an understanding of how to apply design principles to real-life projects, whether in your own home or for others.

The course will be delivered in a relaxed and supportive classroom environment with practical, hands-on sessions. You will take part in design exercises, group discussions, and small individual projects.
