This 24 week ‘Fast Track’ Functional Skills programme is suitable for those who would like to work towards achieving an accredited Functional Skills qualification and who already have a solid foundation of Maths which can be built upon in order to achieve a successful outcome.

When you apply for the January start class you will need to complete an assessment to a satisfactory standard to identify skills gaps and determine if you are ready to undertake the January start Functional Skills Maths programme.

Functional skills Maths is a part-time course for students who want to develop their Maths skills but who are not quite ready for GCSE. We offer both Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications; these qualifications aim to help students develop a range of Maths skills that can be applied to different scenarios.

If you are not successful in your application to study January start Maths Functional Skills tutors will be on hand to support with next steps.

If you are not sure about the suitability of this course, please do not hesitate to contact us for advice.
