None! When you join one of our courses you will undertake initial assessments which will identify your Maths level. This information will be used to create an individual learning plan and ensure you are placed on the correct level Functional Skills programme. We are dedicated to ensuring that you are supported in the areas you need in order to gain these core qualifications. Learning Support is also available if required.Anyone who feels their skills in Maths could be improved. Good Maths skills can be life enhancing improve your job prospects and help you manage your finances more effectively and support your studies if you are planning to continue into further education.
Functional skills Maths is a part-time course for students who want to develop their Maths skills but who are not quite ready for GCSE. We offer both Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications; these qualifications aim to help students develop a range of maths skills that can be applied to different scenarios.
This is a nationally accredited qualification recognised by employers, colleges and some universities. We offer a variety of days and times, including evenings at The College and our experienced team will support you throughout your studies.
