Who the course is for
This course is aimed at 16-19 year olds, (up to 25 years old with EHCP).
Here, you will find individual advice and guidance on the right course for you, this will begin to be determined in your first interview.
This course would suit any student looking for a transition year into a college setting, for those who do not have the grades yet to enrol on the full Level 2 programmes or who may be unsure what to do next, allowing time to discover which route you would like to take. You can focus on your vocational area or do some tasters in different areas. You will build a career and job seeking profile with a plan to improve your prospects of future employment.

How you will learn
Foundation Learning has an experienced teaching team who will support you into the further education (FE) setting and college life.
Students will receive a mixture of class based learning, alongside some vocational tasters.
Learners will be grouped by learning style & disposition.
Work placement
There is potential for work experience if available.

Additional information
The course normally runs Mon – Fri either mornings or afternoons, you will be allocated dependent on the timing of the vocational taster you initially choose and is not a choice.
