Who the course is for
This course provides a more rewarding experience for young people at entry level and Level The course is tailored to the needs of the individual who will be required to set their own aims and objectives. A transition year with lots of support to help you get to know college, build confidence and develop new skills for learning in Further Education. Particularly for those with high needs, SEN, and/or high anxiety) 16-19 years This course is aimed at 16-19 year olds, (up to 25 years old with EHCP). Here, you will find individual advice and guidance on the right course for you, this will begin to be determined in your first interview. This course would suit any student looking for a transition year into a college setting, allowing time to discover which route you would like to take.

How you will learn
Foundation Learning has an experienced teaching team who will support you into the further education (FE) setting and college life. Students will receive a mixture of class based learning, alongside some vocational tasters. Learners will be grouped by learning style & disposition.
Work placement
There is potential for work experience if available.

Fees

If you are taking a full-time course, you will be charged a Central Admin Fee of up to £40 at the start of your course. In addition to this there will be a cost involved for purchasing any essential equipment or uniform for your course; you may be eligible for financial support from the college Bursary team, please ask your tutor for more information.

Additional information
The course normally runs Mon – Fri either mornings or afternoons, you will be allocated dependent on the timing of the vocational taster you initially choose and is not a choice.
