This course in photography covers a wide range of specialist areas and disciplines, from traditional photographic processes to digital photography.

The course allows learners to gain an understanding of both traditional and contemporary practice and will give students the opportunity to gain valuable visual language skills through the exploration of the work of other artists, photographers and designers.

You will undertake a range of assignments that will introduce you to a variety of photographic genres including experimental and mixed media photography, portrait, landscape and advertising photography.

This hands-on, practical photography course will give you the skills and knowledge to progress onto a photography degree programme, or to gain work in the photographic and creative industries.

Resources

A large fully equipped photographic studio, B&W film processing and darkroom printing facilities, photographic store giving you access to a range of equipment including film and digital cameras, and a digital suite equipped with Adobe CC software.
