This team are using reclaimed local IW spirit bottles (Mermaid Gin) cleaning these out and putting LED light strings inside these and selling these on – praised by the judges for their simple and effective idea reusing island products and selling these on
Both teams did their Dragons Den pitch to business owners from the Island on Tuesday 11th May including:
Both teams impressed the Islands Dragons and have both been awarded £75 initial seed money to purchase materials to help them to start making and creating products for sale to all on the island.
On the 14th May there will be the final top 3 prize awarding ceremony where the IW teams are hoping to get even more seed money
