Platform One is delighted to announce the introduction of a brand-new Level 3 Music Technology Extended Diploma – starting in September.
The full time 2 year programme is designed as an alternative to A Levels in a sixth form setting, offering real life music industry experience.
Despite the global pandemic, the world of creating music has never been busier and has never been such a viable career pathway.

The Extended Diploma offers all things music technology including studio recording, creating music for film, television and games, music production and live events. Students will also study video editing, marketing and promotion.
Year 2 of the course allows students to specialise on their own individual project, linked closely to progression into employment or higher education.

Potential students do not have to play a musical instrument however must have a passion for music production.
The study programmme is equivalent to three full A Levels – so is ideal for progression to University degrees.
